The 健康 Studies program includes courses in liberal arts, 自然科学, 心理学, 社会科学, 世界历史和全球意识, 多样性, 人文学科, 和数学, and prepares students for transfer into a variety of health-related career paths. The program offers three different track options from which students may choose; Clinical, 社区卫生, 和医疗保健管理.
The 临床跟踪 is designed for students interested in preparing to apply to healthcare career programs, 比如护理学, 放射学技术, 呼吸治疗, 职业治疗, 口腔卫生, 外科手术技术, 和其他选择的临床职业. This track includes point-bearing quality point courses, 比如解剖学和生理学, that are required in order to apply to a number of competitive health-related programs. The 临床跟踪 can also be utilized to prepare for transfer into bachelor’s degree programs in fields such as Public 健康 and Nursing (BSN).
对社区卫生事业感兴趣的学生, 健康辅导, 护理协调, 社区卫生导航, 咨询, 社会工作, 消费者的健康, or Public 健康 can utilize the 社区卫生 Track. This track can serve as a foundation for transfer to programs leading into these health-related careers.
Students who are interested in careers involving management in healthcare can complete the 健康care Administration Track. This track serves as preparation for transfer to bachelor’s degrees in 健康care Administration.
有特定的选修课, students in all three tracks have the opportunity to earn stackable credentials such as 健康辅导 Certification, a Certificate in 护理协调/社区卫生导航, or a Multicultural/多样性-World 健康 Perspective Microcredential.
提供在线或远程课程选择, the 健康 Studies 社区卫生 degree track 和医疗保健管理 degree track could be completed 100% online. The 健康 Studies Clinical track could be completed 90% online.
